What a manic week and all positive! First a wonderful commission enquiry to sink my brushes into, more to come after a chat with the client on Monday morning.
Then news of sales of two canvases from the Feversham Arms Hotel in Helmsley.
And finally today, I've been accepted by a Giclee Print company to submit works for their exclusive use. Now to decide what works to put forward and what genre! Any help - tell me your favourites!
Must get on with it all!

I downloaded an app for my ipad and had a quick play. Stunned by the results! It's called Procreate! and it's excellent! Expect more of the same again!

Will upload the proper image soon, the paint was still very wet when this was taken.
The breed is a Whitefaced Woodland also known as Penistone. I've painted this from a picture taken on a recent visit to Wimpole Hall Farm near Royston in Cambridgeshire. Well worth a visit!

The ewe was sleeping and sunbathing in the balmy April weather. Whatever happened to the weather?

The sheep is still on the easel and coming on nicely, despite the smallest Bentley doing what babies do best - namely cry, or giggling, or strangely a mix of both at the same time!  Anyhow, despite the obvious distractions that a 5 month old creates, the sheep (still to be named) should be finished in the next few days, and unusually for me, I've got the next subject all lined up!
