SOLD SOLD SOLD, fabulous another one finds a home!
Thank you to the team at Talents Fine Arts, Malton

Had such fun this weekend whilst entertaining the Swedish Bentleys and the Grandparents I managed to fit in a not so small painting.
This has been a long time in the planning and will soon be hanging in pride of place in North Wales. I can't wait to see it in situ. Measuring two metres by one metres it's the largest I've undertaken recently but still is behind the 6 metre commission yet to be completed.
Just four weeks until I move into the new studio, daunting to be packing up again but excited at having a proper professional location at last.
Work has also started on the illustrations but I'll not post any of these here until the books are published.
Busy times, big smiles!

Off to Bridlington tomorrow to meet with my client and draw up plans for the book illustrations. What started as a small job has turned into an epic project. There may be as many as 57 illustrations to do for two books that will remain in private collections.
Very honoured to be asked to contribute to what is a very personal and humorous account.
And of course we need to hang the planning mock-up of the 6 metre canvas too.
My husband is thinking of advertising me as a yummy mummy for hire. Me, I'm not too sure!

No sooner has the dust settled from the Jubilee and the smell of burning torch departed these parts and I've managed to sell quite a few pictures, had confirmation on more commissions and found a brilliant studio.
Great hopes for the future now, there's no orange but the future is bright! To make things slightly easier, Hattie has decided it is time to eat real food and is very pleased to feed herself, ok it requires a bath after the event but it's a joy to watch.
Right back to the wedding present painting.
Thanks again to the Feversham Arms and Kevin Bradshaw at Gallery Beyond!
