We headed off to see Aunty Sarah to discuss a commission and had a lovely visit. Issie worked her little socks off and was rewarded with a bareback ride on Fari unaided, not bad for a four year old! Then she drove Bessie, the lovely old blue tractor.
From there we went to the Bevere Gallery on the outskirts of Worcester and were wowed by their stunning array of ceramics and discussed the possibility of exhibiting some artwork there in the future.
Then on to Bristol to deliver a picture to our newest client collectors! Not only did they take in and hang their latest purchase they put us up for three nights and much amusement was had by all.
Then it was a mad dash back to the one year anniversary of the Gallery Beyond in Nunnington, where we helped to host the event and met lots of wonderful people.
And it doesn't end there, we then celebrated my birthday with friends, struggled to recover from the weeks activities and found some yellow roses on the doorstep from whom we still don't know!
Answers on a postcard!
This week sees the last of my art classes for the group from Weaverthorpe, another trip to York District hospital for checks, two sets of visitors and plans to finish the last three pictures of the year. Longer term plans are to have a baby in the next four weeks and start the hunt for viable studio space in 2012 amongst other little germs of ideas!
